Exams and assignments
Does every course require exams at the end?
If you are working towards a qualification then at some stage you will be assessed in one of three ways.
The first being a straight forward exam where you will be given certain questions to answer and subject to you completing enough questions correctly you will be awarded a passmark and possibly a grade too.
The second way of obtaining a qualification will be to complete assignments based on the subject you are studying and an external assessor will evaluate your written work and grade its contents accordingly.
The third way of being assessed is by someone watching you complete numerous tasks that is subject related and again giving you a grade or mark based on their observations.
In some awards it maybe a case of combining all three methods of evaluating a persons ability but what ever type of review of your ability is conducted there will be a set bechmark that you will need to achieve in order to gain qualification or grading.
At ABAAS we conduct all three methods of evaluating and determining a students levels and whilst this does not apply to all courses we offer the invigilators are comfortable with supporting all review types.
For more details on how we review a students final assessments please give our centre a call and we would be happy to go through the processes with you.
