Training in the work place

How does this work?

In most cases companies want to train staff but can't afford to release them for the day or duration of the course. Where we can be of help is that our flexibilty in supporting these programmes extends right in to the work place and we even offer evening and weekend solutions, it's all about your needs.

If you as an employer or employee are prepared to be assessed and tutored during work hours and can dedicate some personal time out side of work for completing assignment's etc. then we can help you get over these hurdles and gain qualifications and develop new skills.

ABAAS will send a member of staff to assess your needs and possibilities for training within the work place and then establish all the learning needs you have and what we can do to help you.

Once we have established the training needs we will agree a start date and arrange visit times and parameters of completing the training which is tailor made to your work commitments and attendance. You will be given an induction to the course and also books and paperwork to complete for registering you with the awarding body of the qualification if applicable. Your tutor will give you the correct contact details for continuous support and usernames and passwords to on-line learning materials where required.

Your tutor will liaise with the company managers to ensure there is continuous support from your employer and that the tuition given does not interrupt the day to day running of the business. Your tutor will also give feedback to your employer on your progression and other areas that he/she feels maybe of benefit to you and the company.

In order to establish the course materials are accessible by the student and that they will be able to understand the contents of the course we will ask you to complete an initial assessment which establishes your current levels in literacy and numeracy.

If we find that your present levels are below the required benchmark we will put you on a very quick referesher course to update your present competancies or teach you new techniques and formulas for dealing with your grey areas.
