How can I receive free training?

Not all courses draw down funding and there is a certain criteria that you must comply with before you can receive free training.

The first part of the criteria is: do you have recourse to public funds and are you residing in the UK. To have recourse to public funds you must be a member of the European Union or have indefinite leave to remain in the UK. (Evidence will be required when enrolling on to a course)

Nearly all Skills for life courses are free and SFL courses cover Literacy, Numeracy and ESOL which is English speakers of other Languages and in some instances basic computing. We also delivery free NVQ training but again certain criteria's apply and you should contact us for verification.

There is also the issue of prior attainment and qualifications to consider so no duplicating previous courses or certification. To see if you are eligible for free training just simply give us a call and we can talk you through the process of applying for a course.

If you are an employer you maybe eligible to have your workforce trained for free and although the same conditions of enrolment apply, ABAAS maybe able to accommodate additional requirements that are not funded but is subject to numbers. Give us a call and we can send an adviser down to your workplace to discuss your training needs and possible funded opportunities.

Students that are not eligible for free training would be required to pay the fees stated below.
